NEW YEAR IN NEWQUAY
It’s the last night of the year, time to celebrate the the year gone by and everything that we hope 2024 will bring. Why not join us at the Griffin for your New Year celebration, enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal in our restaurant before throwing some shapes as our resident DJ lifts the roof from 9pm! This is a free non-ticketed event but table bookings are highly recommended.
New Year’s Day sees the return of our famous New Year’s Day carvery, our first carvery of 2024! Expect premium cuts of delicious roasted meats with wide variety of sides, all available to help yourself to from our carvery unit. The carvery will be served between 12-4pm and again between 5-9pm.

Between Christmas and New Year is a magical time to be in Cornwall. Stormy seas and cosy nights personify this magical time of year. Enjoy shopping in the town sales and snuggle up with a warm drink at the Griffin in the evening. A minimum three-night stay applies.

Available from 1st – 23rd December as a festive alternative to our normal menu, our festive menu gives you a chance to celebrate Christmas early in a festive pub atmosphere. Enjoy two-courses for £19.95 or three-courses for £24.95. Advance booking is essential.
