That's all it took for our Christmas Day carvery to sell out!
When we originally said we wouldn't be serving Christmas dinner this year, so many of you got in touch asking us to reconsider.
So we listened, brought Christmas Day back — and the response has been absolutely incredible.
Running a pub isn't always easy, especially with the challenges facing our industry, so this kind of support really does mean a lot.
From Steve, our chefs and everyone at The Griffin, thank you for choosing to spend Christmas Day with us.

Our last carvery of 2026 will be served on Boxing Day, with roast meats, pigs in blankets, festive sides and all your favourite trimmings.
Boxing Day bookings are filling up fast too, so we'd recommend reserving your table sooner rather than later.
