Our hotel, bar and restaurant are closed until further notice. Behind the scenes we’re working hard to make our business safe for everyone, putting in place policies that are both as safe and as flexible as possible for both new and returning guests for when we reopen in the Spring of 2020.
We are able to accept hotel bookings from key workers who fit within the governments’ stated travel exemptions, so long as the booking is fully verified ahead of check-in. The verification process involves the completion of our online check-in form, accessed via the button below, PLUS the receipt of a verification letter from your business or employer stating the reasons for your visit. Please be aware that we cannot accept any bookings without this information and we are unable to accept liability for any costs incurred for cancelled bookings that were made in contrary to government advice.
We have reduced the number of tables in our restaurant by half to allow for social distancing between them. There is a one-way system in place to enter our bar and restaurant giving you safe access to your table. There is a separate entrance for hotel guests.
You’ll find full-size perspex screens at our bar and around Reception for the safety of both our customers and staff. Our carvery has been able to resume with your choice from the hot buffet, served from behind a wall of perspex screens by one of our expert carvery chefs.
Table service is now required for food and drinks across the premises. We invite you to order your food and drinks from your smartphone or other device. Our WiFi extends across our property including the beer garden and our delicious food and drinks can all be ordered online, here.
There are sanitation stations across our bar restaurant and hotel, next to all the entrances and main routes through the building. We politely ask all staff, visitors and residents to sanitise on their way in and out of the building.
We are deep-cleaning and sterilising bedrooms, public areas and facilities between each use so please bear with us if it takes a little longer than usual to prepare your room or table. We are unable to routinely clean occupied bedrooms so please pre-arrange your room clean and fresh linen at Reception, if required.
At present it is mandatory for everyone without an exemption (medical or age related) to wear a face covering when inside a public space. Therefore facemasks are to be work by staff, hotel guests and pub and restaurant customers alike when inside our premises. Masks can only be removed for eating and drinking.
